Ubatuba on the coast of São Paulo is a privileged city for being surrounded by beaches and islands suitable for recreational diving. One of them is Anchieta Island, the second largest island on the coast of São Paulo and considered one of the best diving spots in Brazil. For having its fauna and flora protected by the Anchieta Island State Park and having more than 8 different diving points formed by a rocky and sandy bottom that shelter the most diverse types of corals and marine species making the island very sought after by photographers and people passionate about underwater life.
Anchieta Island is a perfect place to practice recreational diving because through this experience divers can come across a diverse fauna and flora composed of turtles, moray eels, parrotfish, capuchin rays, sponges, brain corals, groupers, whiting and various schools of passing fish.
The experience begins with a 40-minute boat ride along the coast to the diving spot on Anchieta Island. Upon arrival at the site, all necessary instructions are passed on to the dive site and then everyone goes to sea.
After the preparations and initial adaptation, start the scuba diving with an average duration of 40 minutes at a depth that can vary up to 17 meters depending on the certification and experience of the diver. Every experience is accompanied by a qualified instructor.
